Vipavski Križ, the jewel in the Vipava valley, years ago the smallest town in the Habsburg monarchy, with just 13 families; today a middle age renovated village. The humble village, which was first mentioned in written records in the 13th century and in the beginning of the 16th century was granted market rights and 25 years later town privileges by the Emperor Ferdinand.
Today we can walk through beautiful narrow streets, taste some local food, wines and local beers or attend wine festivals in the top 10 wine worldwide destination.
VIPAVA VALLEY can be described as a Slovenian garden and natural dryer, because of its own gorgeous nature, and Mediterranean climate. Soft winters and nice summers, help to produce the first cherries and last persimmons. During the winter, even winter vegetables are growing freely outside.

We would like to invite you to join Vipavski Križ (Booth No. B13) for a wine tasting, to feel the vibes of sunkissed Slovenian vineyards!
Wine tastings will be on: Wednesday 12th at 12:15 and at 16:30, Thursday 13th at 16:30. In the meantime, there will also be an option to buy wine per glass.
You will get to sample some of the finest wines from Vipava Valley with a selection of local cheeses and meats and sweet Slovenian Potica. If you will like them, we will also have limited amount of bottles for sale. But don´t worry if we run out – we can then also ship them to you, all over the Europe!
We will also organize a prize draw, with the opportunity to win some bottles of the finest Vipava valley wines.

- NATIVITY SCENE EXHIBITION AND PRESENTATION OF VIPAVA VALLEY SPARKLING WINES - On the last Sunday before Christmas
